Merch

Project Parameters

A responsibility of the Graphic Design Director of Miami University Fashion and Design is the designing, sourcing, and distribution of merchandise. Over the 2025-2026 school year, I directed four merchandise campaigns.

20th year campaign

As this was the 20th year of MUF&D being an organization, I designed a collection of cohesive merch items. I used original images featuring our student models taken by our photographers.

The target audience is MUF&D members who are trendy, fashionable, and of all genders. The challenge was to design a new logo that aligned with MUF&D’s minimalistic branding that members would want to wear.

The color palette, imagery, and type needed to be gender neutral while highlighting MUF&D’s brand messages and the 20th year achievement.

Wanting to do a larger merchandising campaign than ever before, I chose to source from FourthWall. I built a branded website hosted by FourthWall where members could purchase their merchandise and ship it directly to their home. This method of distribution eliminated order minimums, time restrictions, and broadened the number of garment options we could make available.

By the end of the first semester, 80 units were sold, and profits made contribute to the planning and execution of MUF&D events.
